Visual Feedback

Our experinced coaches will help you conquer your fears in a controlled, private environment

One of the problems with traditional Swim Lessons & Coaching  is that there is really no good way to show students how they swim. Coaches and Instructors have always had to try to “show and tell” their students verbally what happened as they attempted different techniques. Sometimes with good results, and sometimes not.

At SwimLabs, this is not a problem. Each of our pools comes equipped with at least three full length mirrors installed along the bottom of the pool, and has 3 separate water proof cameras attached to a computer with movement analysis software and large video monitors. This allows us to show our students exactly what they are doing as they swim, and how they can improve.

The mirrors in our pools are mounted directly in front of and beneath the main swimming area of each pool. This allows our students to watch what they are doing, as they are doing it, and gives them to make instantaneous corrections to their stroke, as they are swimming.

Our SwimLabs 360 Swimming View System is the other half of our Visual feedback System. Our system uses a total of 3 cameras, one mounted over the swimming area, one mounted in front of the swimming area, & a mobile camera. This allows us to capture 360 degree views of each swimmer in action, both above and below the water. We display video taken from each of these cameras on High Definition Monitors mounted at each swimming area, using our Dartfish Video Analysis software.

By providing constant visual feedback to our clients, we are able to accelerate and improve our clients learning process, as they are better able to understand exactly how to perform and correct their swimming technique.
