Endless Pool
One of the most dramatic differences between SwimLabs and Traditional Swimming facilities is our use of the Endless Pool. Endless Pools are small (10×16 feet) bodies of water that provides a constant, adjustable “current”. By swimming against this current, it is possible to swim in place, much as a runner can run in place on a treadmill.
These pools create the optimal environment for Stroke Analysis. Their small size ensures a private, distraction free environment, and the water is always kept between 90-92 degrees Fahrenheit, to maintain maximum comfort for our clients in between swims. The “treadmill affect” also means that your coach will be able to move freely around you as you swim, capturing video of your stroke from every angle above and below the water.
