Registration

There is a one-time registration fee of $25 per family.  Payment must be made at the time of registration.

Please arrive on time for your class or lesson- Regardless of what time a swimmer arrives, lessons will not extend longer than 5 minutes past the scheduled end time. (Schedule permitting).

Swimming Attire

Swimsuits – Although it is not a requirement, we recommend that girls wear one-piece swimsuits
Goggles – It is strongly encouraged that all swimmers wear a pair of goggles during lessons.
Swim Caps – All swimmers with hair below their ears must wear a swim cap.
Swim Diapers – Children under the age of 3 or children who are not yet potty trained must wear a swim diaper. See “Accidents Policy” below.

Accidents Policy

While we understand that accidents happen, if a child has a fecal accident in the water that may contain harmful bacteria or a parasite, it may cause us to close that pool for a lengthy period of time for the decontamination process. Therefore, please do your best to avoid your child having an accident during the lesson. If a pool must be closed due to your child’s accident, you will be assessed fees lost due to the closure.

Instructors- Instructors are subject to change for group swim lessons.  We do our best to keep the lessons consistent, but we cannot guarantee that you will have the same instructor from lesson to lesson. You may request an instructor, however, we cannot guarantee that your child will end up having that instructor. Please note that it is beneficial to periodically have different instructors to enhance the learning process.

Pool Area/ Waiting Room

Parents, if your child is in a lesson, we ask that you please stay in the waiting area until the lesson is finished. Please do your best to monitor your children in the waiting area.

Group Swim Lesson Payment Options

Automatic Monthly Payment – We recommend that all group swim lesson clients sign up for the Auto Pay option. Payments are debited from your account on the first business day of each month. First payment is required at the time of registration. This option allows you to enroll your child in the same class for an ongoing period of time, guaranteeing them a space in the class. We will enroll your student until you give written notice of withdrawal on the 15th of the prior month.

Pay per session- If you choose not to enroll in Auto Pay you may pay as you go. With this option your child will only be signed up for sessions you pay for. Classes must still be booked for 4 weeks in a row, same day/time, however you are not required to sign a withdrawal form when you choose to take a break.

Make Ups- We offer group make-up classes once a month. You must sign-up for a make-up class with the front desk. Once signed up for a make-up you are committed to that class, and we will not do a make-up for a missed make-up class. We will not push out missed classes to the end of your session, so if you cannot make a scheduled class please make arrangements with the front desk to schedule a make-up. You can make-up only one missed class per month, subject to availability. Make-up schedule will be available upon request at the front desk.

Class Sizes- Our group swim classes are limited to a maximum of 4 participants per instructor. SwimLabs reserves the right to combine classes or to move a child into a different lesson in an effort to better utilize our pools and staff.

Class Schedule- Classes are on-going. There are no start/end dates associated with sessions, and swimmers can join us at any time of the month or year, subject to availability. Classes must be scheduled in consecutive weeks. Our class schedule is subject to change.

Cancellations – When you register your child for classes you are reserving a slot for your child that is in high demand. By reserving this spot you are agreeing to pay for your reserved spot independent of your child’s attendance. It is your responsibility to make sure that your vacations, appointments and other activities do not interfere with the classes for which you have enrolled.

Private / Semi-Private Swim Lesson Payment Options & Scheduling

Pay per lesson- A credit card must be put on hold in order to secure a lesson. Lessons may be paid for at the time of each lesson via credit card, check, or cash.  However, we must have a credit card number on file in the instance that a swim lesson is missed. No Refunds.

Cancellations – For all private lessons, we require 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule.  If less than 24-hour notice is given, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $25 for your absence. It is your responsibility to make sure that your vacations, appointments and other activities do not interfere with the lessons for which you have scheduled.

Packages- Packages may be purchased for private, semi-private, three and four person private swim lessons. Each time you arrive for a lesson, a lesson is deducted from your package. It is your responsibility to make sure that your vacations, appointments and other activities do not interfere with lessons you have scheduled. SwimLabs Swim School will offer no tuition refunds for any reason.

Scheduling for all types of private lessons- All private lessons can be scheduled with our front desk staff or online. You may schedule your appointments when you wish, whether you have purchased one lesson or a package of lessons. If you would like to schedule your lessons at the same time week to week, please speak with an employee at the front desk about setting that up for you. Otherwise, we will not reserve that time for you on an ongoing basis. We do not arrange the groups for semi-private, three person private or four person private lessons. You must arrange the people to fill those spots.
